Temporary replacement for Adaptic Non-Adhering Dressing 7.6cm x 20.3cm 24/BX
Type of Product: Non-Adherent Contact Layer (Paraffin Gauze Dressing)
Use: Primary dressing used to prevent wound bed trauma. It is a conformable paraffin gauze dressing that allows wound exudate to pass through to a secondary dressing while minimizing adherence to the wound bed. Requires a secondary dressing.
Frequency of Dressing Change:
Usually changed daily but may be left in place until the dressing begins to dry out. Secondary dressings may be changed as needed while leaving the Jelonet in place, provided the Jelonet remains moist.
Caution:
Use with caution in areas of undermining and do not use in sinus tracts due to the potential for fraying. Not recommended for individuals with a sensitivity or allergy to paraffin.
